Peer Supervision Group
A monthly supervision group with Lori Austein, every 1st Monday of the month, at 4:30 PM, starting in October.
In the Parvana Peer Supervision Group, we use a dialogical process called “council” to connect and form a supervision community. Council is the practice of speaking and listening from the heart. In Council, people are invited to speak deeply from their own experience and perspective and to listen without judgment, monitoring one’s emotional reactivity.
We use the wisdom of the circle to collaborate on issues about challenges with clients, the stuck places, and issues of countertransference.
In our experience council invites us to delve under the surface. We are invited to listen with our whole being to better receive both what is spoken and that which is unspoken. This allows us to respond from a place deeper than personality. The circle weaves a tapestry of community and collective wisdom that is palpable.
Cost is $20/month. Free for Sima Space members. This group is accepting new members.
